Beef Bourguignon

This is a classic French dish also known as burgundy beef. Since the burgundy colour from simmering the beef in red wine is so rich in red to contrast the richness of burgundy the white soubise sauce is poured in a blow torched onion shell. More lighter colour has been added with addition of a seared cabbage and a touch of freshness by adding an herb crusted mushroom (green) Altogether it brings a combination of light & dark notes of colours making it appealing to viewers.
