This image showcases a Bengali New Year feast, featuring the staple food of our farmers. While they may not enjoy it presented so elaborately, a simple bowl of fermented rice and mashed vegetables is their daily sustenance after a long day's work in the fields. On the first day of summer each year, we honor these heroes with a celebration of Panta Bhat (fermented rice), Bhorta (mashed vegetables), and our national fish, Hilsha fry. This plate is a symbolic representation of that celebration.
