Red Velvet Reverie

When I plated this dessert, I wanted to create a scene that felt both playful and luxurious—a dessert that isn’t just eaten but experienced. At the heart of it is a slice of red velvet cake. I carefully arranged fresh strawberries, grapes, and mint leaves to add bursts of freshness, complementing the richness of the cake. The dish sits on a trail of strawberry glaze made to look like a brushstroke. I added crushed nuts and chocolate wafer rolls, giving each bite a playful crunch. The dried flowers and edible blossoms are a reminder of nature’s beauty.
