Roasted khichdi

For this plating, I wanted to create a dish that combines both tradition and a modern twist. My idea is to highlight the beauty of Roasted Khichdi by adding fresh, vibrant elements like raw tomatoes, crispy fried onion beresta, raw onion slices, and green chilies. These ingredients add a burst of color and flavor, making the dish visually exciting as well as delicious. The khichdi itself is golden and crispy on top, with a soft, aromatic center. To add an extra touch, I’ve included a glowing light in the center of the khichdi, symbolizing warmth and inviting people to dive in. This plating is inspired by the rich heritage of Bengali cuisine but reimagined in a contemporary, eye-catching way. It’s not just about the food—it’s an experience for the senses!
