Surrounding it, silky lemon curd adds a burst of citrusy brightness, enhancing the depth of flavors. A tall, candied orange slice adds both height and a delightful crispness, creating a beautiful contrast against the softness of the cake. To balance the textures, I have placed a scoop of spiced ice cream, offering a cool and creamy counterpoint to the warm cake.
